Recorded Jon Koop doing some freestyle rap vocals for the Ghost song today. We worked quickly and got enough rhymes down to fill out four verse breakdown sections with a little editing. A little EQ, a little compression, a little Mic Mod, and a little delay helped it sit in the mix.
We’ll use this as a guide to refine the rap as the main verse/chorus vocals are done by the singer(s) who wind up working on the project.
Continuing the interview process on the lead vocal front. At this point, mostly email communications with potential collaborators, saw an excellent singer/songwriter perform today, and will meet with the remaining interested folks over the next two weeks. Hope to start recording lead vocals later this month.
