Radio angel report: YLE Radio 1 Avaruusromua (Space Junk) Finnish Broadcasting Company radio played “Dreaming Helsinki Esplanadi (Walking a Beautiful World)” on the May 6, 2018 show.
Thank you Jukka! That was awesome!
Otso provides a translation of the announcement around the song:
“The next musician got a real experience of Finnish forests in summer 2016 when he was at the Karelian Skies event in Nurmes in North Karelia. And most obviously that experience was positive and inspirational. American Jim Combs, who makes his music as Sensitive Chaos, has now released a whole album album on his travels around the globe, from Nurmes to Buenos Aires and Nairobi to Tokyo. The album is called Walking a Beautiful World and Jim Combs says it’s like a musical travel journal. There are many players along the way contributing, including Otso Pakarinen a.k.a. Ozone Player. In this piece we are not in North Karelia, but in Helsinki. This is called Dreaming Helsinki Esplanadi.”
“That was Sensitive Chaos, or American Jim Combs, with his international friends. Among others the players included Otso Pakarinen and American Tony Gerber, who was also part of Karelian Skies events a few years back. Karelian Skies in 2018 will be held in July, and the legendary final concert will be in Nurmes on Saturday, 28 July.”
