Radio angel report: Sal España played “Gift Hill Respite” and “Takeshita Street Vs. The Jeepney” on his KCBX 90FM Beyond The Fringe radio show last night in San Luis Obispo | 89.5 Santa Barbara | 91.7 Paso Robles to Salinas 90.9 Santa Ynez, Avila Beach, Cambria | 91.1 Cayucos | and 95.1 Lompoc.

“Gift Hill Respite” is a field recording made in the middle of the night at the top of Gifft Hill on St. John USVI two weeks before Hurricane Irma hit the island. Lots of ear candy in this recording, be sure to listen with headphones.

“Takeshita Street” was co-written and performed by Ryan Taylor on bass and guitars, and Tony Gerber on harmonica, Jim Combs on synths and drum machines, and was mastered by Tom Eaton.

Thank you Sal!
