Radio angel report: WMSE 91.7FM Instrumental Saturdays with Mary Bartlein played the Sensitive Chaos “Last Day Song (World Walking Again)” from the brand new Walking a Beautiful World CD on tonight’s show.
 
Thank you Mary for including us in the run up to release day on May 7 and we’re looking forward to seeing you in New Orleans next weekend and talking to you live on the air later this month!
This song is a combination of two live takes of an improvisation done by Jim Combs for the Nophest 2018 Festival in Avondale Estates, GA. The first part of the song is from an initial test of equipment for the festival and was recorded late on Friday, March 23, 2018 and the last minute of the song is from the next day’s live performance at the festival, totally start-from-scratch.
Gear used for the improvisations was a Yamaha Tenori-On connected to a Sequentix P3 driving a Waldorf Blofeld, Korg Volca Sample, and Roland TR-8.

Radio angel report: John Diliberto played the Sensitive Chaos “Rain Falls Down Like An Ocean In The Sky” from the brand new Walking a Beautiful World CD on his Echoes radio show, Public Radio International syndicated on 130 radio stations from Maine to California on today’s show.

The song was co-written and performed by Ryan P. Taylor on guitar and bass, Josie Quick on violin, Brian Good on soprano sax, Monica Arrington on vocals, and myself on piano, synthesizers, and drums. Mastered by Tom Eaton.

The song was inspired by the resilience of the people of St. John USVI in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, and the beauty of the island under siege  of the storm.
