Jim Combs At Nophest 2018 - By Randy Garcia

Radio angel report: Randy Lukasavige played my Sensitive Chaos “Last Day Song (World Walking Again)” from the new ‘Walking a Beautiful World’ CD on his WWSP 90FM Ambient Aether radio show in Stevens Point, WI on this morning’s show.

Thanks Randy for your consistent support of Sensitive Chaos over the years!

This song is a combination of two live takes of an improvisation done I did for the Nophest 2018 Festival in Avondale Estates, GA. The first part of the song is an initial test of my rig for the festival and was recorded late on Friday, March 23, 2018, and the last minute of the song is from the next day’s live performance at the festival, both versions totally start-from-scratch. The song was literally edited and added to the album the day before it was shipped off for mastering.

Radio angel report: Ignacio Bahillo Pelluz played my Sensitive Chaos “Dreaming Helsinki Esplanadi (Walking a Beautiful World)” and “Rain Falls Down Like An Ocean In The Sky” on his Onda Pedriza 107.3FM Músicas Imaginadas (Imagined Music) radio show on May 28, 2018 from Manzanares el Real, Madrid, Spain.

Madrid was actually part of my fantastic world trip that influenced and inspired the ‘Walking a Beautiful World’ CD, it was a midpoint in my travels. The people I interviewed and spent time with there were wonderful, warm, and full of life. Madrid also provided one of the handful of “Buddha Moments” I experienced, when a young person became a Buddha before my eyes and spoke so wisely and deeply, it turned my business trip into a spiritual journey.

Thank you for including us in such a wonderful playlist!

“Know what’s a lot of fun? Sensitive Chaos’ latest, Walking a Beautiful World. Evolving up from Jim Combs’ solo project to become a collective of insanely talented musicians, Sensitive Chaos bridges the gap between electronica and smooth jazz, with doses of pure New Age laced in. It’s a big, beautiful, jam-sessiony overdose of feel-good tunes, and you need to go hear it. Dig into “Bad Ass Nairobi Land Rover” for a kick of tasty adrenaline.”
